JANGIN Heat Check Contest

Jangin's Heat Check Contest (the “Contest”) begins on October 8, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on April 7, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).

This Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are the age of majority in their jurisdiction at the time of the Contest Period. The parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, trustees, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, employees, representatives, and agents of House of JANG Inc. “Jangin” or of Chef Mingoo Kang or any restaurant or business he owns or operates, including Mingles, and the immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses regardless of where they reside) and those living in the same households, whether or not related, of any of the above are not eligible to enter or win. All federal, state and local rules and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.

During the Contest Period, (i) download and install Instagram on your mobile device and follow the instructions to complete a profile and (ii) follow @houseofjangin.

At the start of each Recipe Contest Period, Jangin Instagram will post a new recipe from Chef Mingoo Kang that uses Jangin's Gochujang Cooking Sauce or Jangin's Gochujang Finishing Sauce. The Contest Period is divided into six (6) consecutive “Recipe Contest Periods”. Each begins on the second Thursday of a calendar month and ends on the day before the second Thursday of the following month. The first runs from October 8, 2026 to November 11, 2026, and the sixth ends April 7, 2027.

Prior to the conclusion of each Recipe Contest Period, an entrant must (i) cook the recipe for the Recipe Contest Period and (ii) post a picture of the finished recipe, with the Jangin product included in the picture, on Instagram and tag @houseofjangin in the post. Posts must be made from a public Instagram account; posts from private accounts cannot be verified and will not receive Leaderboard Points. All posts must be made before 11:59 p.m. ET of the last day of the Recipe Contest Period. For example, for the Recipe Contest Period running November 12, 2026 to December 9, 2026, all entrants must post the finished recipe prior to 11:59 p.m. ET on December 9, 2026 in order to be deemed eligible.

Entrants will receive points, which will accrue and be available on a leaderboard available at houseofjangin.com/pages/jangin-cooking-challenge#leaderboard during the Contest Period, as follows:

• Submission of finished recipe via Instagram post: 200 Leaderboard Points.
• Up to four (4) additional Instagram posts tagging Jangin during the Recipe Contest Period: 100 Leaderboard Points per post.
• 500, 400, and 300 Leaderboard Points to the three (3) entrants in each Recipe Contest Period whose post(s), as judged by Chef Mingoo Kang and Nadia Cho on behalf of Sponsor in Sponsor's sole discretion based on presentation, creativity, and technique, are, respectively, their first, second, and third favorite presentations of the recipe from Chef Mingoo Kang.

“Milestone” bonus points, which shall count toward the Grand Prize only:

• Submissions in three consecutive Recipe Contest Periods: 150 Leaderboard Points.
• Submissions in all six (6) Recipe Contest Periods: 300 Leaderboard Points.

At the end of each Recipe Contest Period, there will be one (1) First Prize, one (1) Second Prize, and one (1) Third Prize, as defined below. At the end of the Contest Period, there will be one (1) Grand Prize, as defined below.

Entries are limited to one (1) qualifying recipe post per Recipe Contest Period per person; additional posts earn Leaderboard Points only as described above. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Any entries received from any person in excess of the stated limitation above will be void at Jangin's sole discretion.

By using your mobile device to enter the Contest, data rates may apply according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges as well as charges for wireless internet access) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. Wireless carriers' rate plans may vary, and you should contact your wireless carrier for more information on messaging rate plans and charges relating to your participation in this Contest. Mobile device service may not be available in all areas. Check your mobile device's capabilities for specific instructions.

One Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for one person to Seoul, South Korea, which will include:

• Round trip coach class airfare for the Grand Prize winner from a major airport (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) near Grand Prize winner's residence to Seoul, South Korea.
• Three (3) nights at a four-star (or equivalent) hotel in Seoul to be selected by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
• One reservation for Grand Prize winner for an exclusive dining experience with Chef Mingoo at Mingles in Seoul, South Korea.

In each Recipe Contest Period, prizes will be awarded as follows:

• First Prize: The Essential Duo of Jangin gochujang sauces and a copy of The Soul of Korean Cooking, signed by Chef Mingoo Kang. The approximate retail value of the First Prize is $75.00.
• Second Prize: A discount code that can be used one time to receive a 50% discount on Jangin's website for a single order of up to $100. The approximate retail value of the Second Prize is $50.00.
• Third Prize: A discount code that can be used one time to receive a 25% discount on Jangin's website for any single order of up to $100. The approximate retail value of the Third Prize is $25.00.

Winners are selected by Leaderboard Point status, which is ranked by the number of Leaderboard Points accrued by an individual user during each Recipe Contest Period.

Recipe Contest Period First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize: The entrants with the first, second, and third most Leaderboard Points (excluding Milestone bonus points) in a respective Recipe Contest Period will, respectively, win the First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize. Any tie in a Recipe Contest Period shall be determined by Chef Mingoo Kang and Nadia Cho on behalf of Sponsor, in Sponsor's sole discretion, based on presentation, creativity, and technique, with no impact to the Leaderboard Points accrued by the relevant entrants. An entrant who wins the First Prize in more than one Recipe Contest Period will receive the signed copy of The Soul of Korean Cooking only once. Each later First Prize won by that entrant consists of the Essential Duo of Jangin gochujang sauces only, with an approximate retail value of $40.00.

Contest Period Grand Prize: The entrant with the most Leaderboard Points at the end of the Contest Period will win the Grand Prize. In the event of a tie, a winner shall be determined based on a judged competition in which the tied entrants submit an original recipe using Jangin products, with an accompanying picture of the recipe cooked by the entrant. Sponsor shall judge the submissions from the tied entrants and determine the winner based on factors such as the aesthetic appearance of the cooked recipe, the originality of the recipe, and its incorporation of Jangin products.

Potential prize winners will be notified by Sponsor via direct message on Instagram from the official Jangin account.

Sponsor will notify the potential Recipe Contest winners and the potential Grand Prize winner within seven (7) days of the end of the Recipe Contest Period or the Contest Period, as applicable. The notified winners, including the Grand Prize Winner, must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification. If any winner fails to respond within seventy-two hours, the prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor shall determine a new potential winner or winners based on the user with the next highest number of Leaderboard Points.

All potential prize winners shall be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, an IRS W-9 Form and, where lawful, a publicity release. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner may be selected.

Odds of winning a prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

The pre-tax value of the Grand Prize is approximately $4,500.00. Grand Prize winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes associated with prize. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC for Grand Prize winner. Sponsor is not liable for any federal, state, or local taxes owed, or other adverse tax consequences or penalties.

All federal, state and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including but not limited to ground transportation, luggage fees, meals, incidentals, souvenirs and gratuities, are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. Grand Prize winner is responsible for ensuring that they have all required entry documentation and identification to enter South Korea, including passports and/or valid permanent resident cards. Sponsor is not responsible for determining your entry requirements. If a winner does not have the required travel documentation, a new winner will be selected.

Airline tickets shall be subject to availability and are subject to certain terms, conditions and regulations specified by issuer. Flight schedules for Grand Prize winner will be determined solely by Sponsor. The trip may not be combined with any other offer, and travel may not qualify for frequent flier miles. Any penalties or fees associated with a change in itinerary following booking and confirmation of travel will be the responsibility of Grand Prize winner. Sponsor and the airline are not responsible if the flight is delayed or canceled for any reason.

Grand Prize winner agrees that the prize is awarded pursuant to a revocable, nontransferable license that is personal to that winner, and may not be sold, resold, auctioned, bartered, assigned, exchanged, placed in commerce, transferred, given away, donated or otherwise conveyed. All prizes will be awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize or redeem a prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion.

Grand Prize winner irrevocably waives all claims against the Released Parties (as defined below) and agrees that the Released Parties will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Contest, the prize elements awarded, personal injury, or wrongful death, a potentially heightened risk of exposure to communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria or illnesses (including, without limitation, COVID-19) and the causes thereof, and sickness arising as a result of the winner participating in the Contest and related activities, wherever, whenever or however the same may occur.

Grand Prize winner fully understands that (a) the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and any resulting disease (together with any mutation, adaptation or variation thereof, “COVID-19”) is extremely contagious and there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any place where people are or have been present; (b) no precautions, including the protocols that will be implemented from time to time by any and all travel providers or those providing accommodations (collectively, the “Protocols”), can eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19; (c) while people of all ages and health conditions have been adversely affected by COVID-19, certain people have been identified by public health authorities as having greater risk based on age and/or underlying medical conditions; and (d) exposure to COVID-19 can result in being subject to quarantine requirements, illness, disability, other short-term and long-term health effects, and/or death, regardless of age or health condition.

By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Contest; and (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, promotion and advertising agencies, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of each of the foregoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons (including death) or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant's participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize.

By acceptance of a prize, each winner agrees to the use of his/her name, voice, entry, and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor, its affiliates and agencies, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use.

By entering, each entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to repost, display and share the entrant’s entry photos, caption and Instagram handle on Sponsor’s own social media channels and website, crediting the entrant’s handle where practicable, without further compensation. Each entrant confirms that they own the entry photos and that anyone shown in them has agreed to their use.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled entries or orders, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Contest, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing of entries or orders, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer or smartphone related to or resulting from participating in this Contest or downloading materials from or use of the website or app.

Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Contest, website or app, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised for any reason, including virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest (or portion thereof) and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from among all non-suspect, eligible entries. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest for any reason in its sole discretion.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK ANY AND ALL AVAILABLE REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

Your participation in this Contest constitutes consent for Sponsor to use your personal information solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and awarding the prizes, unless you have opted to receive email communications from the Sponsor. As a condition of participating in the Contest, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively by mandatory, binding arbitration by JAMS ADR.

Entrant further agrees that under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect, or any other damages. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures. All issues and questions concerning the validity, construction, interpretation, performance, and enforcement of the Contest and these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Jersey, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than New Jersey.
