Pulled Pork

Slow-cooked until irresistibly tender, this pulled pork is infused with JANGIN Cooking Sauce and fragrant spices, creating a rich, savory filling with a subtle warmth. Method

  • Make the pork Coat the whole pork neck (Boston butt) with 125 grams JANGIN Cooking sauce and the spice powder, then marinate in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
  • Spread the onion across the bottom of a rice cooker or slow cooker. Place the marinated pork neck on top of the onions and slow-cook for 2 hours, until the meat is tender and breaks down easily with a fork. Transfer the meat to a bowl and shred it.
  • Strain the sauce from the slow cooker into a small pot. Cook over medium heat to reduce sauce by half. Mix the sauce back with the shredded meat.
